Peter Obi Unveils Website For Donation, Campaign

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, opened an official website on Friday to publicize his political campaign and raise money in front of the 2023 presidential election.
The declaration was made in a tweet sent from the former governor of Anambra’s verified Twitter account.
Obi revealed that donations from willing donors may also be made using the platform as he urged his followers to visit the Obi-Datti Campaign organization’s official campaign website.
I invite every OBIdient Family member and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit, he wrote in a tweet. You can use that platform to support the cause and make a financial or in-kind donation.
I’ll be giving a speech on “Trends and Prospects of Nigeria’s Economy: Broader Implications for Africa’s Development” later today at Oxford University.
The news comes two days after worried Nigerians expressed their worries that Obi’s campaign was being stalled by his constant contact with people abroad.
The LP leadership announced that Julius Abure, the party’s flagbearer and its chairman, could not attend the inauguration of the presidential campaign council.
Both Obi and Abure are currently participating in political gatherings and events sponsored by some Nigerian expatriates.
Abayomi Arabambi, the party’s national publicity secretary, stated to our correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday that the campaign council’s constitution was being examined.
Arabambi clarified that the candidate and the party chairman have to be present in order to announce an inauguration date.
