After spending weeks in the United Kingdom, Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, has returned home.
Some Nigerians have recently been wondering about the whereabouts of Tinubu.
Bashir Ahmad, a presidential aide, reported Tinubu’s return to Abuja in a tweet on Thursday.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, our presidential candidate, has arrived in Abuja from London, the speaker declared.
On October 3, 2022, we had reported that Tinubu denied the rumors of his demise and insisted he was strong and healthy. Additionally, he denied rumors that he had dropped out of the presidential contest.
He said, “Many have stated I have died; others believe I have withdrew from the presidential campaign,” in a tweet that was accompanied by a video of him exercising on an exercise bike. Actually, no.
The truth is that I am capable, healthy, and prepared to help Nigerians right away.
As we had previously reported, Festus Keyamo, spokesman for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, stated on Thursday that the party couldn’t keep defending Bola Tinubu’s whereabouts minute by minute.
He asserted that although Tinubu was the APC’s presidential flagbearer, he had not yet been elected president of Nigeria and that Nigerians were misinterpreting the issues at hand.
Keyamo stated that as a result, the party, Tinubu, and the presidential campaign committee will not be making public announcements to clarify the location of the former governor of Lagos State.
These were said by Keyamo, who also serves as the Minister of State for Labor and Employment, on Thursday morning’s episode of Arise TV’s The Morning Show.
